Don't ferget yer cootie shots
The past coupla years at work, I've tried to instate "National Cooties Awareness Month" for February. Last year everyone dug me giving out "circle-circle-dot-dot" inoculations. So this year I was making a sign for the year of the dragon, starring, of course, Hobbes. Well I just so happened to find a picture of him making the heart hands, and put two and three together, and made this spiffy little signage. Just wanted to post it. And remember, knowledge is half the battle.

Rebel Scum
So I'm on my last day of finals. Whew. Waiting to go to the last class that has turn-in-able work, then (hopefully) off to trail of lights (ish) then spike and mike's. anyway, since I had some free time, I remembered being inspired by Spacesick, and since I've been on this Star Wars kick again lately, I wanted to give the style a try. While trying to come up with the Alderaan image, I realized it came off as Krypton-y, so I went ahead and made another one while I was at it. While I'm not 100% happy with them, I think they turned out aight. I like the Superman one a little more, too.

HOLIDAY TIEMS
hey there kids, what's the best way to spread some holiday cheer?
N3 Holiday cards, dummy!
here are some cards i mocked up (started out as a school project, but i kept going on them). totally infringing rights....ish. but i'm not making money off of them. so take these character clones from popular nerd culture in which i drew and slapped silly fonts on, print them on yer computers there, and send them to yer friends!

It's Almost Time For Games
Just finished poppin' out a flyer for n3 Game Fest 2010, the fifth anniversary of gaming parties that started in 2005. Back then, I was a fragile youngling, and learned of Winter-een-mas from Tim Buckley over at Ctrl-Alt-Del. That year, I made a crown and celebrated at Lan's Edge, a, now defunct, lan center we used to frequent. The following year I threw my first at home gaming bash. Each year a few more people come, and it's usually a little better. I'm hoping to get a finalized tournament bracket system going, with actual start times, so we can organize a little better. Anyhoo, here's the poster, check it out:

como se dice.... slawsome?
tonight i rewatched the entire two seasons of legend of neil, then got through the first season, and half of the second, of the guild (again). i am currently one episode four of mad men, and i'm digging that. i like the style of the 60s, especially with Saul Bass kind of being an influence as of late, and the martini vibe of it all. while i was farting around on some home work, i threw this together, just cause, and was mostly pleased with it.

still hangin' in there...
